The rollers are available within a diameter range of 1mm to 50mm and are made of steel (material specifications in .pdf). Within this diameter range there are two types of rollers as listed below.
Standard Cylindrical and Controlled Contour Rollers
These rollers have a length which is 1 to 3 times their diameter and come in a diameter range of 2.5mm to 50mm. Uses for these rollers include:

  • Needle roller cages
  • Universal joint spiders
  • Epicyclic gear reduction units
  • Cages for linear guides
  • Rotating elements in general
